As we establish a relationship with our patients, the consultation time may be reduced to 10 minutes. The “out of pocket fee” in refers to the portion of the medical expenses that is not covered by Medicare or private health insurance, and must be paid directly by the patient. It’s the difference between the total cost of medical services and the amount reimbursed by medicare/insurance.
The full practice fee is to be paid on the day of appointment, and the clinic will process your rebate claim for you. The rebate will be transferred to the bank account you have nominated on your MyGov account within 24 hours of your appointment. If you bring your physical bank card (not amex or credit card), you will receive the rebate immediately after payment.
